Why Server Partition Software?
Is your server partition (like boot drive) with low space? Do you want to re-arrange the partition size and do not want to lose a byte? Do you want to shrink some partition and add space to extend another drive? Do you want to create partition or delete partition? Do you want to backup your data or make transfers? Want to change partition file system? Then you may need a server partition software to do the tricks.

What shall we consider when selecting a server partition software?
1. No data loss ensured, especially resizing the boot drive.
There should be no data loss when repartitioning like resizing/extending/shrinking partitions, changing file system, etc. This is the primary requirement for a partition software. Or we won’t need it and can turn to traditionally Windows built-in Disk Management which can resize partition but with data loss. (Windows Vista/7 provides resizing partition without data loss, however it is with low efficiency and time consuming and this resizing is not provided in Windows Server Operating Systems.)
2. Resize boot drive without rebooting.
With the important role of a server for a working station, administrators would need a partition software to keep the server working without interruption. It is most advanced technologies that many server partition managers can extend NTFS partitions without rebooting, and so does to shrink NTFS partition (primary partition excluded) without rebooting.
3. RAID Supported
As RAID becomes popular in managing servers, it is needed for a server partition software to support RAID like RAID5, RAID0, RAID1, RAID6, RAID0+1 etc. Luckily the partition software for server listed above are all hardware raid supported.
4. Efficient service and support
It kills when you suffer unexpected downtime of your server and then the whole working station has to phostphone. It is much nessesary of the phone and 24 hours support for a server software company to offer you the most handed supported when you become ants on the pot.
